Jim Davis graduated from the American University in Washington, DC in 1976 with a degree in International Affairs. After working in operations for the Group Tour Companies in Washington, DC, New York City and San Francisco Jim branched out on his own and established California Tour Consultants. |

Twenty-five years later Jim is still actively involved running the company and has recently partnered with his older brother Charles who is in charge of all IT aspects of the operation. Currently, Jim is a member of the Board of Directors of the San Francisco Convention & Visitors Bureau and is active in various hospitality industry organizations in the San Francisco Bay area as well as the City Club and the Commonwealth Club. |

In addition to his travel industry career Jim is an aspiring professional digital photographer and operates a photo gallery at his San Francisco office. Jim's passion for digital photography and travel takes him to beautiful spots throughout the world. He and his wife Jennifer spend weekends at the beach with their three dogs and they enjoy hiking on Marin trailsides. Jim is an avid kayaker and a keen San Francisco Giants fan. Often his commute home is delayed due to a drive in his red '81 911 along the beautiful coastal highway or through the wine country. |

While continuing to promote California Tour Consultants' core strengths in the inbound group market, Jim is repositioning the company to integrate new product lines designed to meet the needs of the aging baby boomer market. |

David Olivier, Senior Tour Director |
David Olivier is a native of San Francisco and has lived in the Bay Area nearly all his life. From his family's frequent vacations and outings in California and elsewhere, David caught the travel bug early on. A great curiosity to explore the world continues to be a major theme in his life. This once resulted in a five-year adventure during which he lived and taught English in both Japan and Italy, while backpacking around much of the globe.
Education and service have always been the principle components of David's professional life. Following his years of undergraduate and graduate study at San Jose and San Francisco State Universities, David moved into San Francisco's tourism and hospitality industry. He spent several years as a
concierge at the St. Francis Hotel, then shifted into hotel management before opting to become a tour guide. For over 15 years he has been the senior tour director at California Tour Consultants and has been instrumental in the company's success. |
